 The Scott County Library system has built and maintains an extensive library system to benefit all -- with new facilities located in Austin, Scottsburg and Lexington.
Scott County, Indiana is proud of its library system. In addition to large selections of reference books and novels, regional libraries offer video tapes, DVD's VCR's, books on tape, films, art prints, CD's, DVD's and records, magazines and newspapers. Meeting rooms are also available for community organizations.
Computer and Internet services are provided for use by the public along with photocopiers, fax and laminating machines. Computer training programs are offered within facilities to benefit citizens of the county.
Many adult programs are offered at all three of the public libraries (Austin, Scottsburg and Lexington) -- as well as programs geared toward children and families.
