 Scott County, Indiana is comprised of two cities: Austin and Scottsburg. Each city is represented by a Mayor, a Clerk Treasurer and five City Council members.
On the county level, Commissioners, County Council, the Assessor and Auditor, County Clerk, Coroner, Judges, Prosecuting Attorney, Recorder, Sheriff, County Surveyor and County Treasuer are all elected offices.
County and City officials are elected for four year terms.
